So here's the first challenge everyone! To start the challenges off, I decided to choose something straight forward as the opening theme. Good Luck All!

Hi Everyone,
To add some creativity and as a fun exercise, I've decided to start issuing art challenges for the group. From time to time, I will select a subject regarding "Lions, Tigers and Bears", and your challenge will be to create artwork based on that subject. The subject will be chosen at random and can be anything in relation to LTB, such as a character (or characters), a location from the comic, a scenario, or any other theme. Participation is optional of course, and entries should be submitted into the "LTB Artwork Theme Challenge" folder, which you'll find in the Gallery. I'm creating this challenge in the hopes of giving some inspiration to all you LTB artists out there who may be suffering art block, or simply like to test your skills in designing artwork for a surprise theme. So show off your artistic skills and enter the challenge today!

The "Lions, Tigers and Bears" Group has passed the 1,000 page view mark!!!!! A MAJOR achievement, and one made possible because of the fantastic support and participation of all you LTB fans. Many groups here on DeviantArt never reach this milestone, but from the moment this group was started I never had a doubt we would. We've got the best fans ever, and we've got the best group topic ever! "Lions, Tigers and Bears" is a truly remarkable comic book series, with extraordinary artwork and a captivating and compelling story that stirs the imagination of children and adults alike. Join me in expressing our deepest thanks to Mike Bullock, Jack Lawrence, Paul Gutierrez, Michael Metcalf, and everyone else who have made this phenomenal series possible. Thanks so much to everyone for all your awesome support of the Group, and here's to another 1,000 page views!
